I'm really excited to do this. No really I am. I, like every other person in Napa Valley, Brooklyn, and San Fran enjoy looking at food blogs. I think the term everyone's throwing around these days to label tje hobby is "food porn." I don't know why I'm even starting this, to be honest I just typed "soup blogs" into google and like a million popped up...rude. My friends call me sassy because, well I'm a New Yorker and most people infuriate me, annoy me and just plain bother me. I'm a pretty happy person sooooo I don't plan to change my attitude or feelings towards the human population. Please don't try and change them for me either. I like to cook soups and stews because I love to have people (people whom I enjoy) in my company. Believe it or not, I like to see people happy. From the age of 12 1/2 my household consisted of my dad, my brother, our dog Yankee and myself. My dad cooked once during the week every Sunday night. It was usually the same canned peas, steak (no seasoning) and a baked potato. Not that I'm complaining...but as I grew older it became important for me to learn how to cook. I'm no master and almost all of these recipes are adapted from another blog but hey, they're damn good!
